Filter.DJ is a free boutique music site created by DJs for DJs. The website was founded by Ben Quirk, former resident DJ at Flinders Social nightclub in Townsville, and his partner Logan Druley. The goal is to provide performers with a simple way of locating the right song for their mix.
On Filter.DJ, DJs can easily find a song that is completely matched in both key and energy. Whether it is for a podcast or for a live performance, performers can search through the website’s archive for the perfect track.

Besides the standard DJ tags, Filter.DJ also includes exclusive tags like Floorfiller, Banger, Warm Up and Peak. These tags designate the energy levels of specific songs. The Warm Up tag represents lower energy songs, while Banger represent tracks that will get the crowd moving.
For now, Filter.DJ only covers limited genres, but the site has plans to add more expert curators to increase the genres and amount of tracks indexed. Currently, at least 20 tracks are being added each day.
Even though it is a relatively new site, Filter.DJ has already been featured on sites like Digital DJ Tips and blogs in Germany and Greece.
Finding free high quality music on the Internet can be a complicated task. With this site, DJs no longer have to worry about finding tracks for gigs and mixes. Every song that appears on Filter.DJ is hand picked and quality assured.
Filter.DJ only features publicly available songs that are 320kbps or higher. The genres currently covered on the site are house, bass, trap, B more, twerk and juke/footwork.
