The Pioneer XDJ-RX is great for beginners and professionals alike. In fact, it is one of the only controllers that effectively prepares beginners for the professional scene. Most venues have CDJs for performers to use, but learning to DJ using software does not prepare you for the equipment. This new controller from Pioneer fixes this issue by combining the best of both worlds.

With the Pioneer XDJ-RX, setting up is a piece of cake. It is a simple as plugging the power and speakers, and adding a music source. The most compatible music source is a library prepared in Rekordbox and stored in a USB, but it is also possible to connect an IOS or Android device with Rekordbox music already on it.

For a long time, Traktor, Virtual DJ and Serato dominated the software/hardware solutions, but with this latest controller, Pioneer is sure to make a dent in the market. This is the company’s most innovative product since their traditional DJ controllers.

The typical two decks and a mixer layout is on full display in the Pioneer XDJ-RX, along with a built in color screen. DJs who use this controller can actually leave their laptops at home. The Pioneer XDJ-RX is all-inclusive and Rekordbox makes it easy for performers to organize their music.

Although the Pioneer XDJ-RX has many great qualities, its defining feature is definitely the seven-inch screen in the center of the console. The panel contains a library browser, parallel waveforms, track information and cover art. This is the first time a pioneer controller has combined elements of DJ software and traditional CDJs.

Many different types of performers can benefit from using the Pioneer XDJ-RX. Beginners will get a leg up on the competition and professionals will enjoy the familiar and extensive features. There is a possibility that the Pioneer XDJ-RX will set off a new trend of software/hardware controllers.
