Coming up with a DJ logo can be a lot of fun but it can also be very stressful. The logo has to be something that people will automatically recognize, simple but not forgettable. Nike has the swoosh. McDonald’s has the golden arches. Starbucks has that weird mermaid-looking thing. Disney has Mickey Mouse. Playboy has the bunny with a bow-tie. Deadmau5
The mouse head is probably the most recognizable logo in electronic dance music. It has taken on a life of its own. It’s not unusual to see people dress up like Deadmau5 on Halloween and the mouse head is a staple at festivals around the world.
Avicii
Sometimes all it takes to develop an iconic logo is writing out your stage name in a cool font. Avicii’s logo is nowhere near as elaborate as the Deadmau5 mouse head but it is still every bit as recognizable. This is because of the unique typeface and minimalistic design.

Carl Cox
Carl Cox is lucky that both his first and last name start with a C. All he had to do was turn one of his initials around and push the letters together. It’s not complicated but it is visually appealing and the two C’s together kind of look like wings.
Daft Punk
Even if you’re not a fan of EDM there is a pretty big chance that you can recognize Daft Punk. At least when they’re in costume because they dress up like robots and are rarely seen out of their suits. This gimmick has worked well for the band because the robot head is automatically linked to Daft Punk’s music. There is also a very specific font that is used whenever the band’s name is written out.
