Las Vegas is the capital of excess. It’s the perfect weekend destination for bachelor parties and crazy spring break getaways. While there are plenty of great shows and DJ sets to be seen is Vegas, there are also certain performers who leave a lot to be desired. Some celebrities believe that fame automatically correlates to musical talent. Check out this list of ridiculous celebrity DJs Las Vegas edition.
Crystal Hefner
It takes a special kind of woman to finally make Hugh Hefner settle down. Settle down for the third time, that is. Crystal Hefner was Playboy’s ‘Playmate of the Month’ in December 2009 and a year later she got engaged to the ultimate Playboy himself. In 2010, she signed a recording contract with Organica Music Group, a division of Universal Music Group. Crystal Hefner had a summer residency at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton recently won the ‘Women’s Newcomer of the Year’ award at the NRJ DJ Awards. In 2013, she signed with Cash Money Records and she’s been taking her DJing career very seriously ever since. It’s actually sort of bizarre how successful Paris Hilton is. She played New Year’s Eve at the Hyde Bellagio and her 2006 single, ‘Stars Are Blind,’ was actually kind of a hit.
Shaquille O’Neal
Shaq made his official debut as a DJ at the Chateau this past June. The best part was he even mixed in music from his debut album ‘Shaq Diesel.’ He played ‘ I Know I Got Skillz’ and the crowd absolutely ate it up. He may not know what he’s doing on stage but he sure knows how to throw a good party.
DJ Pauly D
This man has somehow managed to get on everybody’s nerves. He is best known for being a participant in MTV’S reality TV show ‘Jersey Shore.’ In August 2011, Pauly D signed a three-album deal with 50 Cent and G-Unit Records. MTV even gave him his own spinoff show, ‘The Pauly D Project.’ His popularity has led to DJ residencies in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
